A Brief Crack of Light had two successful productions – in Minneapolis followed by Los Angeles. The script has gone through multiple edits since that time to polish it, including a 29-hour reading in New York City with Tyne Daly, Billy Eugene Jones, and John Glover.
The title A Brief Crack of Light comes from one of James quotes: “The cradle rocks above an abyss. Our existence is but a brief crack of light between two eternities of darkness. Vladimir Nabokov. Famous writer.” It’s another way of getting the most out of life. Here’s a link to the First Act, Scene 1 of A BRIEF CRACK OF LIGHT. Enjoy!
